TOUCHL was originally named TOUCH (by Ray Van Tassle September 1991)
but there are too many programs by that name, so it has been renamed.
Usage: TOUCHL file ... file [/lFILE-NAME] [/tHH:MM[:SS]] [/dMM/DD/YY] [/V]
Change the time and/or date on files. You can specify any number
of files. You can use the usual DOS wildcards.
It will normally set the files to the current date/time.
/L (like-this) will use the date/time of this (existing) file,
instead of the current date/time.
/D (date)
/T (time)
You can give a specific date and/or time (/t or /d switches) to
set the file to. If you do, only that field (date/time)
will change.
It won't do READ-ONLY, HIDDEN, or SYSTEM files.
/V (verbose) will list each filename.
(To work across subdirectories: use TOUCHIT.EXE)
Many thanks to Igal Koshevoy.
